Common causes

Fix it step by step

  1. Open the water tap fully and keep it open while the machine runs.
  2. Check the inlet hose behind the machine. It should not be bent or twisted. Leave at least 15 cm between the machine and the wall.
  3. If your model has hot and cold inlets, connect hot to hot and cold to cold.
  4. Check the drain hose. Samsung says to keep it 60 to 89 cm above the floor and push it 15 to 20 cm into the drain pipe, without kinks.
  5. Unplug the machine for 2 to 3 minutes, plug it back in and start a cycle.
  6. If 4C comes back, clean the inlet mesh filters: close the tap, unscrew the hose from the machine, gently pull out the small mesh filter with pliers, rinse it under running water, refit it, reconnect the hose and open the tap fully.
